Register to attend the Una Europa Language Café this semester! Brush up on your German, Italian, Finnish, Polish, Dutch, Spanish, French, English or Irish. All levels welcome. |

Talking Black: Voices From the Diaspora This 6-part lecture series and discussion group focuses on the African perspective and experience in Ireland with an interdisciplinary focus (heritage, technology, culture, art). The goal is to bring African and African-diaspora voices to the forefront and to create a learning space that is consciously inclusive of often-neglected voices with valuable experience. Events are hybrid and screened in the UCD Global Lounge. |

How should we navigate this evolving technology in the wake of the new AI Act, the first comprehensive legal framework for AI in Europe? From potential applications and pitfalls to responsible use and regulation, this expert panel will explore the most recent developments in AI and the ethical implications for our society. The talk will be moderated by award-winning tech journalist Elaine Burke, and preceded by a drinks reception. |
