Would you like to practice speaking another language? Do you wish you had more opportunities to speak a second language you already know but are getting rusty at? Are you preparing for an exchange or study abroad experience and would like to learn the basics of the language spoken in your destination country? 

Register to attend the Una Europa Language Café this semester! 

Brush up on your German, Italian, Finnish, Polish, Dutch, Spanish, French, English or Irish. All levels welcome.

Una Europa Student Project Incubator

The Una Europa Student Project Incubator is a 5-week, fully online programme where students collaborate with like-minded peers from across Una Europa universities, diving into topics like sustainability, peace, and multilingualism.

Una Europa Live My Life 2024/2025

Expand your horizons and connect with your peers across Europe through the Una Europa Live My Life job-shadowing programme.

Talking BlackVoices From the Diaspora

This 6-part lecture series and discussion group focuses on the African perspective and experience in Ireland with an interdisciplinary focus (heritage, technology, culture, art). The goal is to bring African and African-diaspora voices to the forefront and to create a learning space that is consciously inclusive of often-neglected voices with valuable experience. Events are hybrid and screened in the UCD Global Lounge.

And how can connecting to Una Europa help students, scholars and societal stakeholders to address these issues in a reciprocal way?

This Science Week, join us for a panel discussion exploring the ethical and legal implications of AI for our society.

How should we navigate this evolving technology in the wake of the new AI Act, the first comprehensive legal framework for AI in Europe? From potential applications and pitfalls to responsible use and regulation, this expert panel will explore the most recent developments in AI and the ethical implications for our society.

The talk will be moderated by award-winning tech journalist Elaine Burke, and preceded by a drinks reception.
